HIGH VIEW CARE SERVICES

Specialist service across South East London, built around a founding belief in every person's potential.

High View Care Services was founded by Margaret Lakidi, an inspirational Social Worker who wanted to do something genuinely different for adults living with the effects of Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health, Co-Morbidities and Complex Needs.

Her founding vision was rooted in Carl Rogers' principle of unconditional positive regard: a genuine belief in the potential of every person, regardless of their history, their diagnosis or how they present themselves. That principle is not a value statement on a wall. It is the way we work, every hour of every day.

We are not a general care home. We are a specialist environment built for people who have not been able to make progress in standard rehabilitation settings and who need something more structured, more consistent and more human.

Our Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) brings together Clinical Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Coaches and Rehabilitation Assistants. They work as one integrated system, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One team. One plan.

Our specialist outreach service extends rehabilitation beyond our residential settings, providing tailored neurorehabilitation support in individuals’ homes and communities. Whether supporting a transition from residential care or delivering intervention as a standalone service, our outreach team works alongside individuals to maximise independence, achieve personal goals and promote meaningful participation in everyday life.

We, as the Local Authority, could not have achieved these positive outcomes without the invaluable support and collaboration of the staff team at High View Care Services and our colleagues from the ICB. Their commitment, professionalism and ongoing involvement have been instrumental in achieving the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support.

HIGH VIEW CARE SERVICES

We see the person beyond the diagnosis.

The people we support have often been through significant life changing events before they reach us. At High View Care Services, we start from what we can do to effect the change you need.

We believe that meaningful change is possible for every person we support. Through a combination of specialist expertise, consistent support and structured rehabilitation, we create the conditions for progress to happen. We are honest about the challenges as well as the opportunities ahead, recognising that rehabilitation is a gradual process. We call this scaffolding providing the right support at the right time to help individuals develop confidence, independence and lasting outcomes.

Rehabilitation is not linear. Our role is to stay consistent, adjust the plan, and keep moving forward. Taking steps back is opportunities for actual learning and reflection for positive work to be undertaken.
