Unit 84 Wellbeing Service

Unit 84 in Dulwich is one of our dedicated Wellbeing services, designed for adults with acquired brain Injury, mental health, substance misuse, co-morbidities and complex needs whose primary focus is longer-term stability, quality of life and maintaining function over time, rather than an intensive, time-framed rehabilitation programme. For many of the clients who live at No 84, getting here has involved a long and complex journey. They may have come through acute rehabilitation settings, multiple placement breakdowns or extended periods in hospital care. What they need now is a specialist environment that is consistent, structured and genuinely built around who they are as a person, not just where they are on a clinical pathway. Our Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) continues to work with every client at No 84 from a shared, regularly reviewed support care plan. Goals are set around what matters to the individual: maintaining daily skills, building confidence, staying connected to family, the wider community, and living with as much independence as is safely possible. The environment at No 84 is calm and purposeful. It is a home, not a clinical setting, with private outdoor space and communal areas designed to support both independence and connection. The garden, the games room and the garden room are spaces where real life happens alongside structured therapeutic support. Our Wellbeing Pathway is not an indefinite placement without direction. It is a structured, reviewed, person-centred approach to supporting people to live a meaningful life.
