HIGH VIEW CARE SERVICES

Longer-term wellbeing support, with space to breathe and to consolidate on gains

Unit 154 in Penge is set in a mature residential area with secure gardens backing directly onto parkland. It offers specialist longer-term support for adults with acquired brain Injury, mental Health, substance misuse, co-morbidities and complex needs, alongside two dedicated transition living apartments for clients who are working toward greater independence and consolidating on their gains. This is service has been thought about carefully. The secure, mature gardens and the natural setting give clients genuine access to outdoor life. The range of communal spaces, including a lounge, games room, dining room and dedicated meeting rooms, it means there is room for structured therapeutic activity, quiet time and social connection, all within a consistent, specialist environment. Every client at No 154 follows the High View Wellbeing Pathway, a structured, regularly reviewed programme built around their individual goals, history and what matters most to them. Our Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) works from one shared plan, implemented consistently by every member of the team, every hour of the day and night. For clients in the two transition living apartments, the focus is on building the requisite skills and confidence needed to move toward a less supported setting, with the full backing of the Trans-disciplinary Team around them. It is a meaningful step, while providing the right level of pace for each client. Progress at No 154 is defined by the individual and at their pace. It might mean for one person to cook a meal independently. Or another, spending an afternoon in the community volunteering. While for another, simply feeling safe, settled and genuinely at home. All of those things matter. All of them count.
