High View seeks to provide and maintain a homely, supported, living environment which enables residents to feel safe, secure, valued and empowered to pursue their interests to the fullest.High View Care services has as its stated intention the care and reorientation of people with a range of addictive and cognitive issues derived from their abuse of a range of drugs (prescribed and illegal) and alcohol. Our aim is to offer a residential setting 365 days of the year where, while under treatment at a day program they can return to live and be supported in a conducive environment. Which while supporting the external treatment process allows residents to discuss, both as a group and individually issues that have arisen for them during their treatment day, while giving them the nurturing to continue the process.
High View offers a service for people between 18 and 65 years, of both genders. We provide professional care and intervention for respite, short, medium or long term stays for people with:
- Alcohol and drug related problems
- Poor short term memory resulting from alcohol and drug misuse
- Challenging behaviour due to substance misuse
- Acquired brain injury due to substance misuse
- Mild learning disabilities with substance misuse
